Sniper Fury

Sniper Fury is a single-player first-person shooter set in the not-too-distant future, where the old ways of waging war have become obsolete in the face of ever-evolving technology. Rather than go to battle with massive armies, countries and corporations contract small teams of elite warriors to conduct surgical operations against their enemies.

I was tasked with taking seven years of disconnected bits of lore that Sniper Fury had established and turn it into something cohesive. It ultimately resulted in a “soft reboot” of the story, folding in the various narrative elements that had been built through seasonal updates and events into one semi-cohesive canon. The results? Some of the more “eclectic” work of my career.

In addition to working on in-game content, I worked on three distinct projects to support the narrative refresh.

1. “Episodes.” These were narrative-focused blogs meant to tell little stories in the world of Sniper Fury. These were largely tied into in-game events that were happening at the time they were posted, and while it isn’t my best work it’s some of the most fun work I’ve ever done.

2. Sniper Fury: Countdown is a limited comic series that is available on Steam? For some reason? Anyways, check it out if you’re curious!
3. Sniper Fury: Choices was a branching narrative that players could experience exclusively on the official Sniper Fury Discord server. As of April 8th, 2025, I do not know if it is still live – but it was fun to work on!
