Aven Colony is a city-building strategy game that invites players to explore and colonize the remote alien world of Aven Prime. As players turn tiny settlements into sprawling cities, they will stumble across ancient secrets from a long-forgotten alien race who once called this wild world their home. They will learn about this alien race and what led to their extinction, all while ensuring that the humans settling this vibrant new world do not meet a similar fate.
I worked on the initial draft of the game story, incorporating narrative elements that the project/studio lead wanted, before delivering a full 73-page script during a 36-hour mad dash which resulted in this particularly unhinged photo of me enjoying a celebratory ice cream bar.
